When you use 0based, we collect only what's necessary to provide the service:

• Authentication provider ID (from Sign in with Apple) — we do not collect your name or email unless you choose to share them
• Financial data you enter: accounts, transactions, budgets, bills
• AI conversation history and AI-generated memories (if you enable AI Memory)
• Device information for push notifications (device token, platform)

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the 0based experience:

• Displaying your financial dashboard, transactions, budgets, and bills
• Powering AI chat responses and insights based on your financial data
• Sending push notifications you've opted into (budget alerts, bill reminders, summaries)
• AI Memory: extracting and storing key facts from conversations to personalize future interactions (only when you explicitly enable this feature)

3. What We Never Do

• We never sell your data to third parties
• We never share your financial data with advertisers
• We never use your data to train AI models
• We never collect data for purposes unrelated to providing the service

4. AI Features

0based uses AI to provide chat responses, financial insights, and memory features. When you use AI features:

• Your financial data is sent to our AI provider to generate responses
• AI conversations are stored in your account for continuity
• AI Memory (opt-in only) stores key facts from conversations to personalize future interactions
• You can disable AI Memory and delete all stored memories at any time from Settings
• Your data is not used to train AI models

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in encrypted databases. Authentication uses industry-standard JWT tokens with secure secrets. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

6. Your Rights

• Access: View all your data anytime in the app
• Export: Download a complete copy of your data from Settings
• Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings
• Control AI Memory: Toggle AI Memory on/off, view memories, delete individual memories or clear all

7. Third-Party Services

0based may integrate with third-party services for bank connectivity. When you use these integrations, your data is handled according to both our privacy policy and the third party's privacy policy. We only access the financial data necessary to provide account syncing.

8. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to deliver alerts. You can configure which notifications you receive or disable them entirely from Settings. Device tokens are removed when you sign out.

9. Children's Privacy

0based is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 0based. By accessing or using 0based, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

0based is an AI-powered personal and business finance tracking application. The app allows you to track accounts, transactions, budgets, and bills, and to interact with an AI assistant for financial analysis and conversation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use 0based. By using the app, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account

You create an account by signing in with Apple. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per individual. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into 0based. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal or financial data to third parties. You may export your data or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings. 6. AI Features

0based uses artificial intelligence to provide chat-based responses, financial insights, and memory features. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated responses are informational only and may contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI responses do not constitute professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
• You should not make financial decisions based solely on AI-generated content
• AI features may analyze your financial data to provide personalized responses
• AI memory (if enabled) stores key facts from your conversations to personalize future interactions — you may disable this feature or delete stored memories at any time
• Your data is not used to train AI models

7. No Financial Advice

0based is a financial tracking and information tool. Nothing in the app — including AI-generated insights, suggestions, or analysis — constitutes professional financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use 0based for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure or services
• Attempt to bypass any security or authentication measures

9. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter into 0based. We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any user-entered data. Calculations, summaries, and analytics are based on the data you provide.

10. Third-Party Services

0based may integrate with third-party services for bank account connectivity. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.

11. Intellectual Property

0based, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal and business finance tracking purposes.

12. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time, with or without notice.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the app's Settings. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 0based is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including any financial losses, missed payments, incorrect calculations, or decisions made based on information provided by the app or its AI features.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 0based and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of 0based shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use of 0based after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
